Encrypted at Every Layer

Your data is protected in transit and at rest:

• HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit between your browser, our servers, and Anthropic's API
• Encrypted PostgreSQL database at rest — your documents, analysis results, and chat history are encrypted on disk
• Bcrypt password hashing — we never store your password in plaintext; we use industry-standard bcrypt with salt rounds
• Secure session tokens — authentication uses cryptographically signed tokens that expire automatically

Complete Matter Isolation

Every piece of data in Florida Lawyer AI is scoped to a specific user and matter:

• Documents uploaded to one matter are never accessible from another matter
• Chat history, analysis results, and generated documents are isolated per matter
• No data from one user's account is ever visible to another user
• Database-level foreign key constraints enforce this isolation — it's not just application logic, it's structural

No Third-Party Tracking

We take a hard line on privacy:

• No Google Analytics — we don't track your behavior
• No advertising pixels — no Facebook, Google, or LinkedIn tracking
• No third-party telemetry — we don't send your usage data to anyone
• No data brokers — we never sell or share your information

Your usage data stays in our encrypted database and is used solely to enforce plan limits and improve your experience.

Secure Authentication

• Individual user accounts — each attorney has their own login with isolated data
• Bcrypt-hashed passwords — industry-standard one-way encryption
• Secure payments via Stripe — we never see or store your credit card number; Stripe handles all payment data under PCI DSS compliance
